Sergey Yastrzhembskiy is talking about the Chukchi reindeer herders, their cultural characteristics, lifestyle and the challenges they face.
Konstantin Kuksin , ethnographer, traveler and writer , Nikolai Pluzhnikov ethnographer and specialist in Northern peoples will speak about the life and customs of this small nation of Russia, as well as a mutual relationship with nature, which helps these people to live in the harshest conditions of the Far North. Another guest of the studio is Alexandra Rytheu , granddaughter of the great Chukchi writer Yuri Rytheu.

Yastrzhembskiy’s guests are senior researcher at the Institute of Ethnology Dr. Svetlana Ryzhakova, expert on snakes and zoologist Vladislav Starkov, and professional performers of Indian dances Ekaterina Selivyorstova and Nadezhda Kovriga .
The central topic of discussion - the Indian tribe of snake charmers and dancers - Kalbelia. The viewer will learn more during the second part of the film of Yastrzhembskiy “The Death Charmers”
