"IVORY. A Crime Story" will be shown in the out-of-competition program "From A to A"

On December 7 at 11pm "Ivory. A Crime Story" by Sergey Yastrzhembskiy will be shown in the out-of-competition program "From A to A" of the 11th International Documentary Film Festival "Artdkofest".

This program includes non-feature films, winners of the main Russian film festivals and film awards for the past year. "Ivory. A Crime Story" was awarded the "Golden Eagle" as the Best documentary film.

The screening will be held in Hall 7 of the cinema "KARO 11 October".

British premiere of Tigers and Humans in Cambridge

On the 22nd of November 2017 in the framework of the Russian Film Week in Cambridge the British premiere of Tigers and People will take place.

Only around 500 endangered Amur tigers remain in the wild. The biggest threat to the largest wild cat in the world is human beings. According to statistics, poachers kill an average of 20 striped predators every year. A new documentary investigation by Sergey Yastrzhembskiy in collaboration with “Amur Tiger” Center reveals the main threats to the survival of the Amur tiger in the Far East.

Tigers and Humans nominated for the Golden Unicorn Awards in London

The Golden Unicorn Awards will be presented at the esteemed Langham Hotel in London over a gala dinner on November 25, 2017. It is an awarding ceremony for contribution into development of cinema production related to Russia and highlighting the cross-cultural mission of the Russian Film Week.

Sergey Yastrzhembsky's film "Tigers and Humans" is nominated in the Best Documentary Film category.

The awarding ceremony will be covered by several channels, including the recently launched in the UK Viasat World "TV1000 Russian Cinema".
