The premiere of Sergey Yastrzhembsky's new documentary A Shot of Hope will take place on April 24 at the 43rd Moscow International Film Festival.
From God to paper. The life of an Asian elephant - a full-length documentary, produced by the Yastrebfilm studio, will be shown within the out-of-competition program of the 19th Baikal International Film Festival “Man and Nature” named after Valentin Rasputin. It will be held on September 24-28, 2020 in Irkutsk, Russia.
The festival is an offline film platform, urging to reflect on the complex relationship between man and nature in order to raise environmental awareness by means of cinema. Filmmakers from 54 countries, including Russia, Germany, Italy, Spain, India, France, as well as South Africa and Brazil, will take part in the festival.
The Yastrebfilm studio is still working on a new documentary film, Shot of Hope, about a highly controversial and sensitive issue. We will speak about hunting, or rather, conservation hunting, its social and environmental significance.

A new project “Hunting Personalities with Sergey Yastrzhembskiy” has started on the “Wild” TV channel. This is an author’s series of film portraits, made by the famous filmmaker and hunter Sergey Yastrzhembskiy.
The portrait gallery is not only about famous hunters, but also about people who have made a significant contribution to the protection of the environment.

Sergei Yastrzhembsky’s film Passions for the Mammoth is included in the program of the competition for the title of the best television documentaries at the 30th Documentary film festival RUSSIA.
The film festival will be held from October 1 to 6, 2019 in Yekaterinburg.
