Sergey Yastrzhembskiy and the Yastrebfilm Studio have started working on a new documentary film The Shot of Hope. The shootings have started in early February in the United Arab Emirates.
On December 7 at 11pm "Ivory. A Crime Story" by Sergey Yastrzhembskiy will be shown in the out-of-competition program "From A to A" of the 11th International Documentary Film Festival "Artdkofest".
This program includes non-feature films, winners of the main Russian film festivals and film awards for the past year. "Ivory. A Crime Story" was awarded the "Golden Eagle" as the Best documentary film.
The screening will be held in Hall 7 of the cinema "KARO 11 October".
On November 23d, at 5 pm Sergey Yastrzhembskiy's documentary film 'Tigers and Humans' will be shown in International competition at the Green Vision Film Festival in Saint Petersburg.

Only around 500 endangered Amur tigers remain in the wild. The biggest threat to the largest wild cat in the world is human beings. According to statistics, poachers kill an average of 20 striped predators every year. A new documentary investigation by Sergey Yastrzhembskiy in collaboration with “Amur Tiger” Center reveals the main threats to the survival of the Amur tiger in the Far East.

The Golden Unicorn Awards will be presented at the esteemed Langham Hotel in London over a gala dinner on November 25, 2017. It is an awarding ceremony for contribution into development of cinema production related to Russia and highlighting the cross-cultural mission of the Russian Film Week.
Sergey Yastrzhembsky's film "Tigers and Humans" is nominated in the Best Documentary Film category.
The awarding ceremony will be covered by several channels, including the recently launched in the UK Viasat World "TV1000 Russian Cinema".
The Italian version of the film by Sergey Yastrzhembskiy 'Ivory. A Crime Story' was shown with big success on September 26-27th, 2017 in 8 biggest cities in Italy. The distributor of the film was the famous company Koch Media.

On the eve of the opening of the 7th International Wildlife Conservation Film Festival (WCFF), which will be held in New York from October 20 to 29, the festival jury has announced the winners, including the film Tigers and Humans by Russian documentary filmmaker Sergey Yastrzhembskiy.
On 21 September, the eve of Elephant Appreciation Day, Pioner Cinema will host a special screening of “Ivory. A Crime Story” and a discussion with director Sergey Yastrzhembsky. The film’s voiceovers were done by Distinguished Artist of Russia Sergey Chonishvili. Screening at 19:00.
